Catatan Mudik Masa Lalu

Assalamualaikum. 

Nemu ini di folder draft. Keknya ini tu jurnal aku pas liburan di Jakarta. Aku edit buat kamu baca deh. Lucu sih. Jadi tau pov aku waktu masih bisa mudik long trip gitu (cat: ini tahun 2015 ya, terakhir aku mudik ke Jakarta). Sedih juga karena aku se-kesepian itu tanpa aku sadari. Ya, gitu deh.

It was raining when we left Antep this morning. The sky was gloomy. The cold was inevitable. Are you happy or are you sad?

Antep is such a small neighborhood, Istanbul is such an arrogant one and I got butterflies on my tummies once I found out I was about to land in Jakarta.

Pale bright moon welcomed me and I was just glad I got so many people praying for me.

It's so hot in here.
Mosquitoes are everywhere.
House is constantly dirty.
And why do I keep coming back?

Cleaned the house like crazy.

Still sick. Bored too. No choice but stay home.

It was raining last night. Hard enough to keep us worried.

Went to the mall.
Visited old workplace.
One fine day! Alhamdulillah.

Went to the traditional market.
Bought fruits and cake moulds.

Happy but upset I didn't bring enough gift for everybody.

Went to see planetarium but it was closed.

Stayed home. Cleaned up.

Traveled back to Jkt. It was a crazily long trip.

Cleaned up and tried to pack up.
That bag looked heavier than before.
Need to repack everything.

A week from now I'd be alone again. I'd be in my reality with so many catharsis.

I wanted to visit my uni but I couldn't go. Somehow people just don't get it. I'm a bit down as the holiday also comes to an end.

Packed 2 bags already.
Suitcase is looking so much better after repacking.
I hope I could come back here. No matter what, I think I'd want to come, again.

Got not much to do. 
Just stayed home. 
We will be back in Antep soon. 
So I try to get myself bored here. 

Watched all the cooking show on TV. 
Watched KBSWorld and NHK for a change. 
Things I called luxury as I couldn't watch 'em back home because we have no TV.

Plan to see the dentist.
Refund meal card at the mall.
Nope.
We went to the zoo. And shopped for some stuffs.

Shop for things I should shop
We went out of town instead. Quite fun eventhough I still wondered why the driver took unusual route back home.

Should we look for hijab?
Went to pazar. Bought things I needed to buy and hijab too. And some seeds! Alhamdulillah ya Rabb!

Leaving Jakarta.
We got grabcar to take us to the airport.
No airport tax. Successfully passed the customs.
It was raining when we headed back to Istanbul.

Landed early in the morning. Airport was deserted. Nice and quiet.
And we exceed the limit of our baggage. Promo ticket only got 15kg while normally it's 20kg. I was upset because suddenly it was all my fault to take people's packages with us.
I really hope I'd stay longer.
I miss my morning in Jkt already as I sat at the airport bench.
And shed some tears.
Suck!

Ternyata, setelah 2015, aku ga mudik lagi, gaes, sampai akhirnya back for good tahun 2017. Selama dua tahun ga mudik itu rasanya seperti dua abad karena biasanya tiap tahun bisa pulang kampung. Sedih. Rindu. Bete. Campur aduk jadi satu. 

Jadinya, hidup tu penuh misteri ga sih? 

Tapi, aku jadi paham. Aku tu emang ga cocok tinggal di luar negeri. Dasarnya emang ndeso tenan, aku tu. Semua yang terjadi selama 7 tahun di Antep, aku terima dengan kesadaran bahwa aku pernah sebodoh itu sih. Backwash effectnya adalah sampai hari ini, aku masih perlu diyakinkan, I am not that stupid actually, he was the bad guy. 

Suatu hari nanti, aku pasti sembuh sendiri. Tunggu aku, ya.
